KYOTOGRAPHIE 2024 KG+ Exhibition to be held!

KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival 2024″ KG+ has been selected to exhibit at the festival as in the previous year!
Since I first met Mr. Nikilesh Giri, Consul General of India in 2021 and was told about the “Photo Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and India and the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence”, I have had such wonderful opportunity to exhibit my work in Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, Sakai, Osaka and various other locations.
As I had been working individually, this group work was very emotional for me.
Our group procedure is like as follows.
1.Go on location with Ryota Tanimura, who works in the Overseas Sales Department of a trading company and is very knowledgeable about India, to learn about the roots of the models and to create a storyline with Ms. Tanimura playing a central role.
2.Mr. Tanimura and I shoot the film together.
3.Mr. Tanimura, Ms. Matsumoto, and I sorted the photos taken at a later date.
4.The images were then selected by Mr. Tanimura, Ms. Matsumoto, and the three of them.
5.The three of us had a meeting to decide which parts should be in color.
6.Mr. Matsumoto finished the prints on a PC.
7.The three of us again checked the work and printed it.
Each of the works, which took a great deal of time to produce, has its own emotional attachment.
