Selected for KG+ Pick Up for KYOTOGRAPHIE 2023
\nThe 11th KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival will be held from April 15 to May 14, 2023 under the theme “BORDER”.
\nKG+ is an open call photography festival featuring exhibitions organized by up-and-coming artists, curators and venues.<\/p>\n

The joint work by Kumiko Wakabayashi and Kyoto based Austrian artist Alma Schanzer
\npresents as the theme “carnation \u00d7 reincarnation”.<\/p>\n

Alma and Kumiko are from different generations and nationalities.
\nWhat they have in common is they are both female and both experiment and create works of contemporary expression based on classical photographic techniques.<\/p>\n
